Microwave Data
Origin
This directory contains FIR models of digital microwave radio channel
impulse responses. The complex-valued baseband channel responses have
been "fractionally sampled" at twice the baud interval. The baud
intervals vary somewhat from channel to channel, and are listed below.
These responses were extracted from the processing of field measurements
of received signals, courtesy of Applied Signal Technology, Sunnyvale, CA.
The data is in the format of Matlab binary ".mat" files, readable from
within Matlab via the "load" command. When loaded, the channel impulse
response vector will have the variable name 'C'.
Alternatively, you can download the "a" file (chan1a, for example) which
has the same data as its ".mat" counterpart but in ASCII.
